Availability in India (2025 Update)
Both branded and generic semaglutide are now available in India. Novo Nordisk's Ozempic is sold through licensed pharmacies, and several Indian pharmaceutical companies now manufacture biosimilar versions at lower price points. Tirzepatide (Mounjaro) has also launched and achieved rapid adoption.
